Great article about echos of spiritual practice in great plays. Reminds me a little of Bodies in Motion, Bodies at Rest by Thomas Lynch. Lynch writes, among many great things, “What is the one true word today? The good word, the good news? The truth, the whole truth? […] Is bearing a little witness the best I can do?”

I like the word the practice. I like that it is something you can do and something you can have.

Listen The Octopus Project

Internet! I bet you didn’t know I loved this song.

I wish they had a mp3 of Wood Trumpet off Golden Beds.

That’s my favorite.

I didn't want to work on a story so I made this website

And it didn’t take very long at all!

Hello internet.

Here’s what I’m trying to suss out in my writing today:

A woman falls into a memory coma after having a shock. How long should that last? How long before the man who she’s with really needs to do something extreme? Like call an ambulance?

What happens after she wakes up? Does she feel how much time has passed?

Does waking someone up with a kiss turn any story into a fairy tale? Nothing against fairy tales. But does one magical moment undercut the reality of the story?

Here’s the other big question of the day:

What will I have for lunch?

See you later internet.
